By early afternoon the next day Amy was allowed to leave the hospital as they gave her the all clear. She walked up to the yard with Ashley her arm in a cast and in a large sling and a bandage around her forehead to stop any dirt getting to her. The yard was quite busy since it was a weekend; people where here to tend to their horses, some riding, one horse getting loaded up on to a wagon. Ashley told her that she went to see where King was. Amy sighed as she walked up to Grey's stable to see he wasn't there; the stable was close to empty no haynets and the bedding was up against the banks and his rugs weren't there. She looked around and saw Theo walk up to her.

"Where's Grey?" She asked.
"In the old foaling stable; he is on box rest for the next three weeks. Ma'am wants to speak to you in her office too." He said.

Amy just sighed as she walked towards the office; first waiting on a horse to pass before heading up the stares into the office.

"Ah Amy how's the arm?" Shannon smiled.
"It hurts; Doctors said that it'll take months to heal properly since it broke pretty bad." She sighed as she sat down.
"You wanted me?" Ashley said as she walked through the door.
"Yes sit down." Shannon said gesteriant to two chairs in front of her desk.

The two girls sat down; expecting the verbal onslaught they were going to get.

"I just wanted to tell you two girls how disappointing I am in the both of you; Ashley first you knew that Grey was unfit to ride why the hell did you ask her to come ridding with you?" Shannon said folding her computer top down and looking at the girls.
"Ma'am I didn't-"
"Yes Ashley you did; Alex told me." She said as Ashley pulled a face. "Before you even say anything she didn't have a choice but to tell me the truth." She scolded as she turned to Amy. "Amy do you know what kind of danger you put yourself and Grey in?"
"Yes ma'am..."
"He could have quit easily killed you and you could have killed him. Amy why didn't you listen to me? I told you what the vets said and the fact that he needed rest from ridding because of his legs. But no; you were selfish and ignored me and rode your horse into the ground. Theo rode for 3 hours trying to catch your horse the first time you fell; then Theo came and picked up your horse and took your horse to the vets, then he went to pick up your horse from the vets. He made a stable ready for him and washed his rugs that where bloodstained. I think you have some making up to do to him and your horse." She said. "Now; he is in the foaling stable and will be stabled on box rest for the next three weeks. The vets will be here every four days to change his bandage on his legs and will be taking out the stick on his face, neck and shoulder in the next few days. I have already told your dad this." She went on. "Amy; I just want you to think long and hard is Grey the right horse for you? If you can't slow him down in a field do you think you'll be able to slow him down when he'll be after a dragon? I've taught Lou a lot on Grey and he is a sharp little horse that needs a firm but fair hand."
"Ma'am he is I love him!" Amy protested.
"But Amy the thing is you can love him all you like but if the judges think you haven't got 100% control of him they won't allow you to compete!" Shannon said as she leaned forward. "I think it would be in your and Grey's interest to find your self a quieter pony for this season and I'll help you find another owner for Grey. I doubt he will be bale to hunt this season anyway because of his legs; there are plenty of people who would love to have him Amy and would know what to do with him. I just don't think he is the right horse for you sweetheart." She sighed. "Now; I have to head off to teach now I want both of you to go find Theo and ask him what needs to be done still." She said as she got up. "Be careful of your arm." She said to Amy.
"Okay ma'am..." Both sighed as Shannon left the room.

The two girls sighed as they looked at each other; Amy looked like she was ready to cry before they got up and went to look for Theo.

The two girls spent the day making feeds, cleaning tack, Ashley took a few horses out and brought a few in and Amy went to see Grey while she was skipping the horses out and Theo was giving them all haylage. Grey was standing in the corner of his stable leaning on the wall. Amy just teared up before walking away; feeling her heart break. This was all her fault. All of this crap that happened to Grey it is her fault.

Grey dropped his head as the girl ran off seeing her tears. This was all his fault; if he had seen that dragon coming he could have moved so it wouldn't have hit him. If he had only seen that dragon his Lou could be alive...

King had his head over his door; he could just about fee Grey from where he was but as the day drew and it got darker and inside his darker. He sighed before he turned and went back to his haylage; poor thing. Cooper let out a neigh hoping his new friend would call back on him but he didn't. He called softly again hoping he'd come to his door to see if he was alright but Grey didn't move. Cooper just sighed as he dropped his head; giving up on trying to call him to the door.
